The South Shore Career Centers are part of the Massachusetts One-Stop Career Center System, providing employers and workers access to all programs and benefits of the workforce development system in one location. One-Stop Career Centers help job seekers connect with employers. The South Shore Career Centers host a variety of employment-related workshops and events each month. Experienced Job Specialists are available to assist you with reviewing your resume and provide job search assistance.

Literacy Program of Greater Plymouth
The Literacy Program of Greater Plymouth, a service of the Plymouth Public Library, provides adults in the greater Plymouth area the opportunity to develop and improve the life skills and literacy skills needed to achieve personal growth, to further their education, to seek better employment, and to benefit their overall quality of life. The program offers classes for adults who are working towards passing the Hi-SET the test that has replaced the GED) and tutoring for adults learning English as a second language (ESOL). Tutors are volunteers from the community who have completed the program’s tutor training program.
